You don’t really get into his situation
Chronology
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or killers that captured the attention and notoriety of the public.. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says they had only one rule from Ryan Murphy [Creator] to follow until the series: that he did not will never tell from Dahmer’s Point of View. "As an audience, you don’t really sympathize with him. Rather, you look at it, you know, from the outside.".
Featured in Jeremy Vine: Episode #5,195 (2022)
In many episodes there is 3M Command(TM) tape displayed in the kitchen of Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment, which takes place no later than 1991. 3M released its first wave of Command(TM) products in 1996. When I clicked to watch the release of “Dahmer” on Netflix, I thought it would be the second documentary about him. But what a surprise it was to see that it’s actually a mini-series of the crimes Dahmer committed.
The acting is superb
And what a mini-series it is! The script is top notch! The cinematography is some of the best I’ve seen in a serial killer true crime series! I’m a big fan of Mindhunter, the series about the origins of the FBI’s behavioral science unit.
But what Netflix showed with Dahmer is a whole new level of implementation!
And I have to admit that Dahmer fits perfectly in this kind of shows! The show blew me away from the first episode and it’s been a one-off ever since. I know there are many other films from “People’s Magazine” for example; depicting crimes committed by notorious killers. The People’s Magazine movies are mere amateur hours compared to the Dahmer series.
It deserves a solid 9 stars!
Netflix really surprised me with this great show! And I don’t give a 9 star rating lightly!
