I’ve always liked Stallone over the years, yes he’s addicted to his sequels, but he’s made some really enjoyable movies, sprinkling in a few classics along the way. In Tulsa King may very well be his best work from an acting perspective alone, he’s just stone cold in his role as a mob capo.
Fun to watch, worth a look
The show itself has an interesting story, is well written, taking full advantage of the humor of a New York mobster from Tulsa, Oklahoma without going silly at all, throw in a healthy dose of violence, good writing and dialogue, and a great cast and supporting characters and have a winner.
