When oft-fired Walt (Shameik Moore) takes a job tending bar and kicking shoes at his local bowling alley, the AlleyCatz, he feels like he’s finally found a home. When the AlleyCatz are threatened by financial troubles, former bowler and reigning champion drunk Skunk (D’Arcy Carden) pressures Walt to embrace his role as the greatest bowler who ever walked the earth. While Walt’s love of big checks and straight-up style of play dominates the Pro Tour, his detractors, including ratings-obsessed news anchor Angelo Powers and recently retired bowling legend Linda “The Crusher” Courson (Susan Sarandon), frantically try to snuff out Walt’s flame before it burns too brightly.
