The first known building Daryl’s caravan passes is known as the Pantheon
Chronology
Daryl’s journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. Its original purpose was a church, until the French Revolution, when it was converted into a Mausoleum that would honor France’s National Heroes. Although the series is set over a decade after the apocalypse, there seems to be no end to solid petroleum.
Featured in Garch the Great: Remake It!
The characters readily operate cars and trucks in series, although gasoline becomes compromised over time, usually within a year or more. Additionally, as gasoline decomposes, it becomes sticky and also compromises engine components. Therefore, driving motor vehicles ten or more years into the zombie apocalypse is not happening.
Sequel, Prequel, and Reboot It!
Redo It! (2023). Impressed with the new spinoff.
The French actors thankfully speak French and are very convincing and fascinating
Watching Daryl wake up on the beach reminded me of Rick waking up in his hospital bed after the world (almost) ended. Two caveats, though: don’t make a mega-production with thousands of anonymous extras who are instantly forgotten, and don’t introduce a new NEGAN, because he ruined the series for me. Third observation perhaps: don’t turn it into another The Last of Us, because that would be pointless, boring and unimaginative.
