Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are science fiction. Season 1 covers the first 30 books of "The Wool" – there are 82 chapters in the book.. The fans on the floor spin in the wrong direction in various episodes, in terms of the orientation of the blades.
My first review!
Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Need to Catch Up on (2023). I read the Hughes trilogy years ago and really enjoyed the books. When I randomly scrolled through IMDB and found SILO, I was immediately hooked. I see some conflicting opinions and I can relate to some of them, here is my opinion on the first season.
First of all, I adore dystopian literature!
The dystopian genre offers a unique psychological perspective on human nature in hypothetical scenarios. My passion for the trilogy was strengthened because Hughes managed to develop Orwellian ideas in a hypothetical framework that is relevant to the modern world. Depicting the development of the human psyche in dystopian scenarios is a difficult task. I think Hughes did a wonderful job, SILO reflects most of these aspects in a refreshing way.
The acting is phenomenal for the central characters
It is not an adaptation in the sense that it follows the plot. It is based on the books, but of course it has to adapt to the audience in a fast-paced world. Despite this, the series manages to capture the atmosphere of a society living in a tank. Unlike the shallow narrative of other shows, «SILO» is a wonderful mix of character development and atmospheric focus.
They spend a lot of screen time chasing and perpetuating Juliet
The only problem I have with the show is the lack of atmosphere development. They lack the development of the atmosphere of the silo as a society. Of course, it has to appeal to an audience that is receptive. Try it!
