The funny thing is that I don’t remember a book like this at all
In the timeless town of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family navigate love, oblivion, and the inevitability of their past and their destiny. This is Netflix’s most expensive Latin American project yet, with Colombian groups and indigenous communities constructing the props and sets for the series.
Everything comes from a master of the genre
Sure it was creepy, but then again, the author is very poetic when it comes to bringing up old curses and such..or tragic love, human nature.. I was swept away by almost everything, not in the first episode, I was intrigued then and I hope you let the alchemy/magic happen like I did.
Let the beggar’s cloak envelop you with its fantastic story
It all goes back to history and memory and how unreliable and intricate they are and what we make of them. I got the urge to reread the novel, right now!
Like some "Game of Thrones" fever
The difference is that I can’t read the original, only the translation. It’s not Dickens and A Christmas Carol for children, but it is a story for adults.
Sad, but beautiful
And very welcome in our difficult political times. No need to waste time endlessly scrolling — here’s the entire lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
