Synopsis
A therapist patient begins telling his clients what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making a huge difference in people’s lives, including his own. The cast of “Downsizing” shares their defining moments from the first season and reveals who does the best Harrison Ford impersonation. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Siegel said that Goldstein initially wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would audition people who looked like Ford. Siegel told Goldstein that they should have at least pitched Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford got the job, which would generate interest from other famous actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled nonetheless. At first, as soon as I saw that it starred Harrison Ford and Jason Segel, I was already going to watch it, but then, after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer, my excitement grew even more. Well, I just finished it and it not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. I’m not saying it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original and positive comedy that will make you laugh with every episode. I definitely recommend it, but make sure you set aside plenty of time to watch it because you’ll want to watch it as soon as possible.
