Three members of an extended Afghan family begin their lives in Iran as refugees, unaware that they will face a decade-long struggle to be “home” in their brothers’ land. are able to capture the essence, complications and heartbreaking scenarios of political conflicts, relationships, culture and the rawness of reality. The filmmakers were able to capture the themes, tone and writing of each of the three stories with beautiful emotions, interesting characters and moments that felt tense and depressing without feeling cheesy and overdone and all the performances of the cast members are good. . It really brought out the emotions between the characters and the core of the message and purpose of the film. The camerawork, production design and soundtrack are beautiful. There were touching moments and I felt sad watching it. Personally, the first and third stories remain the most impactful. Although the second one has some flaws in pacing, it was still good. Overall, the film stands as another good Iranian film.
