In the episode “The Sewer,” Walt (Shameik Moore), who is often fired, feels like he’s finally found a home when he takes a job as a bartender and shoeshine boy at the local AlleyCatz bowling alley. When financial problems threaten AlleyCatz, Walt is pressured by former pro bowler and current drinking champion Skunk (D’Arcy Carden) to embrace his role as the greatest bowler who ever walked the earth. As Walt’s big checks and aggressive style of play dominate the pro tour, his detractors, including ratings-obsessed newscaster Angelo Powers and recently retired bowling legend Linda “The Wrecker” Curzon (Susan Sarandon), frantically demand that Walt be fired before it gets too bright.
