Chronology
Two girls disappear. Police recruit Paul Chartier joins a secret unit tracking a sex offender. After the operation fails, Chartier pursues the criminals on his own, disillusioned with legal restrictions. So we watched it in French with Dutch subtitles. I don’t understand French, and my Dutch is clearly not good enough for these topics. I also don’t know much about pedophiles and the police system in Belgium in the 90s. Is this a good movie? Not for me. It looks like it was a movie about a policeman who was dealing with a case of missing children. He looks young and shows good memory when he remembers the 21 license plate after an incident with another police department. Although he is quite emotional and often loses his temper. All the characters look pretty incompetent. It’s just hard for me to follow the events. I won’t add anything else so as not to spoil your impression.
