CIA agent Joe tries to balance his personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped produce a more authentic execution of weapons handling, house cleaning, positioning, squad-based activity, etc. Referenced in Sovereign Awards (2024). If you like the genre, you’ll love this one because it was as much about the adrenaline and intrigue as it was about the real-life problems that everyday people go through. It was refreshing to see things that one can relate to in the midst of it all. Lastly, I also liked the unexpected plot twists and how one can’t predict how certain situations will play out; on the contrary, I found myself waiting for the stereotypical when it would actually defeat the purpose. I really hope they make season 2. All the characters were top-notch and I would love to see how they would evolve the story.
