The first theatrically released Looney Tunes film not to be distributed by Warner Bros
Synopsis
Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope in the face of the threat of an alien invasion. Pictures. The film was originally intended to be a streaming-only release on the Max streaming service. After the company decided to release it, the film was sent to other distributors, with GFM Animation eventually acquiring the worldwide distribution rights and shifting the film to a theatrical release.

Inside the meteor, when Daffy demonstrates his talent with levers, he pulls the lever to lower the machine and pushes it to raise it back up. But when Porky and Petunia are tied up, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine lowers them anyway. At the end of the closing credits, Porky Pig gives his classic declaration, “That’s all, folks!” only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that this is not the end of the film and that they need a sequel. Well, I watched that movie yesterday along with Joker 2 Folie a Deux (which I’ll talk about in another post) and I have some thoughts on it
Before I start the review, a few things first: For those that don’t know, I am not a Looney Tunes fan, never was, and never will be. I was never a Looney Tunes fan throughout my life because the vast majority of the characters are annoying and not funny (especially the popular ones) and their humor is lazy, uncreative, repetitive and pure embarrassment most of the time, I very rarely found a short from the Looney Tunes library that I actually liked and made me laugh, I consider the Looney Tunes cartoons to be the most overrated cartoons ever that don’t deserve their popularity and I hate the Looney Tunes and the communities/fanbases of the cartoons that over praise these cartoons when there are tons of other cartoons that deserve it and I get angry if someone hates and criticizes the Looney Tunes for legitimate reasons leading to them having huge bias and double standards. So yeah, don’t act surprised when I defend you if you’re going to be a jerk to me, telling me I didn’t have a childhood and/or that I didn’t have good taste in humor just because I dare to dislike a popular cartoon that I found highly overrated and not funny at all. However, considering that this is Warner Bros’ first Looney Tunes animated movie on the big screen (it’s very depressing and confusing that the Looney Tunes haven’t had a theatrical release animated movie for over a century, like what Warner Bros was doing at the time), I’m willing to give it a chance.
Let’s start with the positive, the pros
I’ll talk about the pros and cons of this movie. Also, this is a spoiler-free review, so I won’t spoil the main events of this movie. So… what do I think of this movie?… okay… it’s surely not the best Looney Tunes movie, but it’s definitely not the worst one I’ve seen. Voice Acting: What holds Looney Tunes together the most is the voice acting, all of the voice actors/actresses were on point and the tone matches the characters emotions, Eric Bauza is perfect as Daffy and matches the tone of how crazy this character is, as an example.
