Synopsis
In 1980s Hollywood, adult movie star and aspiring actress Maxine Minks finally made it big. But while a mysterious killer pursues a Hollywood star, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past. Hollywood star Maxine puts out a cigarette where Teddy Barra’s actress Pearl was inspired to name her alligator in the movie Pearl (2022). In fact, it is “Until you are known as a monster in my profession, you are not a star.” Maxine Minx: Do you know what happened to the last person who asked to kill me?

I broke her fucking head.. In accordance with the aesthetics of the film of the 80s, after the closing credits “Be Kind Rewind” is shown a sticker, as in many video stores.. All in all, it was a good time
By arrangement with Warner Music Group Film & TV licensing. I just got back from an early viewing and wanted to share a few thoughts. Some of the tone felt more like drama than horror, because there are no really tense or scary moments, but I understand that horror is not always interpreted that way. If you haven’t seen Pearl, then everything will be fine.
Mia Goth is always worth watching
I think you should at least watch X before that to get some background and references. I really liked the style of the film, this glamorous and obscene look and the atmosphere of the 80s were perfectly combined. Ti West is good at this, as you can see from his earlier work, especially House of the Devil. X remains my favorite film in the trilogy, but if you’re a fan of the other two films, you’ll love this one.
The soundtrack, costumes and acting are very well done
